and now my 2 hamsters that i've known since they were born, they're 2 years old today.

and they're going to be going soon.

i've known them for 2 whole years...

even if i buy more hamsters, none of them will ever be the same.

they won't have the quirks of them, loving glass bottles.

tofu box houses.

their pink twitchy baby noses.

the way they look innocent when i scold them.

the way they stuff treats in their cheek pouches.

the way they lick and nibble my fingers.
